Important information for your holiday at the Alpen Appartements Zauchensee
On arrival day your apartment is ready from 3.00 pm. On departure day we kindly as you to vacate your apartment by 10.00 pm. If you plan to arrive outside of reception hours, please let us know by tel. in advance, so that we can inform you how to get your key.

As a rule we require a deposit in order to fixate your booking. The amountain of deposit to be paid and our bank details are send with your confirmation.
You can settle your bill on arrival, during your holiday or on day of departure in cash, with EC card or credit card (Visa, Mastercard).
The first supply of bed linen, towels and tea towels is inlcuded in the apartment price. Change of linen is weekly.
You can order your breakfast bread or rolls from us. Let us know your order by 12 pm the day before. In the morning your rolls can be picked up from our bread box, your order is marked with your apartment number. Our bread box is situated on the ground floor next to the ski room.
If you are arriving in the afternoon and you would like fresh bread on your first day, you can order prior to arrival using our bread order form.
We provide a cot with bed linen free of charge for our youngest guests on request. Please note that only 1 cot can be accommodated per apartment.
There are outdoor parking spaces available in front of and behind the Alpen Appartements Zauchensee.
Your four-legged friend is welcome by arrangement in the Alpen Appartements. Fee: € 17,00 per dog and day (without food).
Zauchensee is a small mountain village situated at an altitude of 1.350 m. Here you’ll find hotels, huts, apartments and youth hostels. In addition there are several ski schools, sports shops for your ski, snowboard and bike rental plus winter and summer sports clothing.
Grocery stores, supermarkets, boutiques, sports and specialised stores can be found in Altenmarkt, just 10 km away. During the day you can make use of the free ski or wanderbus between the two resorts. When arriving at the weekend, don’t forget to bring provisions for the first few days.
During the day a number of ski huts on the pistes in the Zauchensee valley and the Zauchense arena entice you in for refreshment. If you don’t want to self-cater in the evening, pay a visit to the Felserhütte and the Garnhofalm in the centre of Zauchensee or one of the many restaurants and pubs in Altenmarkt. You’ll be particularly welcome at the Gasthof Markterwirt.

Resort tax is not included in the apartment price and is added to your bill: € 1,10 per person over 15 years per night.
All our apartments are non-smoking apartments.
Unfortunately it can happen that you have to cut short your holiday unexpectedly or have to cancel. Take advantage of European Travel Insurance and save unnecessary costs or cancellation charges. Here you’ll find important information regarding holiday insurance: Hotelstorno Plus.
Between Zauchensee and Altenmarkt there is a regular free ski bus service in winter and a wanderbus service in summer.
- The bus stop for buses to Altenmarkt is located in the centre of Zauchensee, approx. 500 m away.
